"Nobody cared enough to stay"

First off, don't get worried looking at the tittle :)

Its not about me, I'm just want to express my opinions on it.

So, recently my friend told me about this news about this teenager that committed suicide cause he felt that nobody cared enough to stay, but there were quite a people who attended his funeral.

Back when my friend first told me about it, I didn't really think much about it. 

SHOWERS are the best place to think about stuff, so I was thinking about it again while I was showering and I figured that since people cared enough to attend that teenager's funeral, it would mean that there were people who were actually concerned about it. 

Okay, so maybe not all of them, but out of the quite a lot of people, there was bound to be a few that really do care right?

"Nobody cares"

that's what I assume most people often say/feel whenever they feel unloved or ignored.

But the truth is there are people who really do care about us, but sometimes we are just wrapped up by the "I got ignored" and " I feel unloved" feeling and just don't see the people that cares about us.

Then, I thought about why the teenager would feel that way, when at the end of the day we all know that there were people who cared about him? In my opinion, it would be that "nobody" here actually refers to someone or certain people. Meaning that the person/people that he wanted for them to care about him, didn't. And this I feel is often the case for others as well. I know that there might be some cases whereby maybe there really is no one, that I really have no idea what to comment. But ignoring those extreme cases, I'm sure there is at least one person who love and care for us genuinely, be it your parents, siblings, other family members, friends, other half. So, don't just think about the person/people you want for them to care about you, think about those people that already do :)

So, all I'm trying to say is that sometimes we may be too blinded by what we crave for to see what we already have. You may not agree but these are my views on this.
